You Didn’t Call for Them, But They Keep Coming for You?

Have you ever wondered why it is when you are quiet, minding your business drinking your water, and living in peace that you suddenly come under attack?

“For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land” Psalm 35:20. Before God -BG I was quick to answer any and every one, any and everything! Because for most of us especially in the Black community we are taught to defend ourselves at all costs. It is an inherit aggression, anger and trauma. We all know these people:

1. Quick to fight

2. Constantly getting into arguments with people no matter where they are or what the circumstances are

3. An instigator that always stirs the pot to cause everyone around them to fight and argue

4. No matter how peaceful things are they just have to do or say something to start some drama

   
   

   I can say that- BG- BEFORE GOD- I was guilty of a lot of these things.

What is behind and driving these behaviors? PROUD AND BITTER spirits!

You see a proud spirit is a counterfeit entity of a humble spirit. When someone has a proud spirit, they cannot rest because they are consistently trying to prove something. Prove that their right, prove that their better than others, prove that they are not what people say they are, prove, prove, prove! They war with themselves and everything around them day in and day out which automatically opens the door to a BITTER spirit to enter!

(Remember: Spirits do not enter alone, although one may enter initially more will follow if it is not cast out immediately and as the sin and possession of that person’s body continues to grow other spirits will enter)

So when you are minding your business and doing good, not paying people or situations the time of day -it is an automatic signal for the enemy to stir up those (on assignment) to find a way to disturb your peace so that you become distracted, out of alignment and forfeit your peace! This is why we must study the enemy the way he studies us.

Think about it: the moments in your life that you feel that everything is coming together, it's not perfect but you are dwelling in his secret place. The small things aint bothering you anymore, you are dodging the old schemes and tricks of the enemy left and right and have come to a place where you are unbothered in general! John 1:5 “The light shineth in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.”  

This is when we have be the most aware, the most alert because you can be assured that someone will come for you! God made his light to shine in us and Your light shines no matter where you are, it is so strong that it is seen in the spiritual realm and crosses state lines and continents - Catch that one! So you can be in another country state and /or time zone and your light can disturb that spirit to work through a person to attack you !

But guess what? Once you have reached a certain place with God and it is righteous, there is nothing and I mean nothing that will cause you to be moved unless you allow it to happen. "God says he will not suffer the righteous to be moved!" Psalms 55:22. I didn’t say it wouldn’t hurt or frustrate you at times but YOU WONT BE MOVED AND YOU WONT BE FORSAKEN!

So how do you respond when they come for you and you haven’t called them?
