My Story ..... My Why?
For years, what I felt and what I thought were the only two tools I utilized when making decisions or when speaking. Operating in this way for the majority of my life put me in many situations I should not have been in and caused me to say things I could never take back. This kind of " that's just how I am " thoughts and behaviors shaped major decisions that changed the direction of my life in ways I couldn't see until it was too late and even then I was too prideful to admit I had made a mistake! On the outside, everything looked perfect, but inside, I was miserable and when you are unhappy long enough you become angry.
I choose people, places and things in my life
from a damaged place and then question
why everything in and around me was broken.
My thoughts and emotions led me to choose the wrong relationship, to move when I was supposed to remain still, to speak when I was supposed to be silent and caused me to waste years as well as resources that were to be used to accomplish the calling on my life.
This was me—trapped by my own doing in a cycle of one poor decision after another. Each choice came with a cost: my health suffered, my finances dwindled, career opportunities slipped away, and my peace felt out of reach. I found myself spiraling, caught in a pattern that seemed impossible to break.
And then one day, I got tired. (Well not one day, it was many, many, many days!) Honestly, it was years ! Lol ! ) Tired of hearing myself complain. Tired of being angry. Tired of watching birthday after birthday go by without change. The weight of staying the same became heavier than the fear of doing something different. I knew that if I wanted peace, purpose, and clarity, I had to choose it—I had to step forward, even when I wasn’t sure where the path would lead.
That’s why I became a coach. Because I know firsthand how easy it is to lose yourself in the chaos, in people , in situations that in the grand scheme of things are not as important as thing, to let emotions dictate decisions, and to feel stuck in patterns that drain your spirit. My journey fuels my mission—to help others step out of uncertainty, reclaim their confidence, and build a path forward rooted in wisdom, faith, and intentional growth."
There were many trying and difficult years that followed. there were plenty of tears, anger, lots of accountability and hard conversations with me and God before the breakthrough came.
What I learned from it all was:
If you let him, God will either change the situation or he will deliver you out of it. You just have to be willing to walk it out.
In the midst of trials so unimaginable that you’d have to see them to believe them—yes, the spiritual realm is real, trust me—God transformed my life. This journey hasn’t been easy. But the victories? They are real. And they are proof that when you choose God, even in the face of struggle, transformation is inevitable.
And what most people won't say is that: I am still facing battles today, the "church glow " did come, but the soft girl life in God is an ongoing peaceful battle where I get to see victory after victory!
But despite everything, I am still standing on the Word of God—period. No matter what the enemy threw at me, no matter how intense the warfare, God remained faithful. He shaped me into someone I barely recognize, blessing me beyond anything I could have imagined, and day by day, He continues to set me free.
This isn’t about glorifying hardship—God is a KING and his children are royalty; we are meant to live abundantly. But growth requires resistance. Just like building muscle, overcoming the enemy in spiritual warfare only happens when you've been tested and stretched.
This is my journey—my story of trials, setbacks, and victories.
Yes, I’m wordy—but I promise you, what I share will bring the breakthrough, clarity, and the discernment you’ve been searching for.
Get on—and stay on—your purpose.
