Kings and Queens Don’t Stoop- Protect The Crown

I almost stooped and drooped my crown! I almost forgot who I was, almost stepped out of my righteousness! Almost! And then I remembered: Just because you are saved does not mean you are weak!

One of the areas I struggled with heavily as a believer was restraining myself from responding to people with the same energy they so easily exhibited towards me. It is a learning process that everyone of us goes through in humbling ourselves by being slow to speak and slow to anger .

James 1:19 -My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry

That does not mean we don’t slip up from time to time and sometimes we must stand on business and hold our boundaries, but as you grow in God you will start to view people and their actions through a different lens, which will lead you to this understanding: It’s Just Not Worth It !

You know those people, the ones who say things to provoke you and /or hurt you under the guise of :

"I didn’t mean it like that."

"I was just playing with you."

“You're too sensitive !"  

“That’s just how I am !"

People do what is on the inside of them; they speak what is in their heart. So when we expect someone who is a human agent for the kingdom of darkness to do anything or be anything other than what they are, we only waste our energy and give them the victory of provoking us to frustration !

Psalm 35:20 They do not speak peaceably, but devise false accusations against those who live quietly in the land.

They just can’t help it & sadly some of them do not want to change it – It’s Who They Are !

They are all tools for the devil, puppets through which demons attack and provoke you. They are possessed by demons who use them to do their bidding; sometimes they are unaware, but if a person has persisted in this behavior for a long period of time, they are fully aware of their role as a tool for the enemy, with most of these human agents fully accepting these assignments.

These human agents are usually possessed by one or more of the following spirits:

1.      Jealously and Envy

2.      Bitterness and Hatred

3.      Paranoia and Doublemindedness

4. Unhealed Trauma

5.      Jezebel – controlling and manipulation

No sooner than I had finished typing my last blog, did such an attack come through someone ( who will not be named ), but who the enemy has used non -stop to TRY and attack me even though for years I have decided to have little to no interaction with this person, because they continue to allow themselves to be used as a tool decades later.

I will admit when it first happened, I was offended, annoyed, and just amazed! Like you just don’t stop! Ain't You Tired of Being Wicked !? Nothing was said or done to provoke this person; the enemy spoke through them in an attempt to accuse me of something I did in my past. Not only did the demon attempt to slander me it did it through my child!

I just told you all the enemy plays strategically and is always studying your weak spots! He knows where to strike and who to use to do it! So after I had my little moment, said some words ( no curses) I had to repent for later on, I calmed down and talked to myself.  I said self “ You know better than that, God said, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises in judgment thou shall condemn!” I went on speaking the word, casting down every imagination, every curse, because essentially that person, even when told the truth to their inappropriate question, they asked my child, rejected the truth just as demons do when it is convenient to them, and proceeded to speak a curse over me through that accusation.

We are called to be different, to walk differently, talk differently, and respond differently! 

When you picked up the cross to follow Jesus, you put down the old man. Let them feel like they got it, like they won, let them feel whatever it is they need to feel whole, because God, at an appointed time, will deal with those who strive against you and who curse you.

In the meantime, pray for them ( I know some of you are like - What?) Yes, just try it, and soon the anger, the unforgiveness you felt, will be lifted because the strategy was meant for you to become offended, hold unforgiveness, and essentially block you in prayer and blessing.

So pray for their deliverance, they are miserable and suffering, pray that they are set free before it is too late.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
